Irina Mappin
Camelot Castle
Irina Mappin is a co-owner of the magical property, The Camelot Castle Hotel, which is situated atop a hill that looks down upon the ruins of the Tintagel Castle in England's Cornwall region. Her husband, John Mappin and business partner Ted Stourton purchased the hotel and refurbished it to reflect the scenery and spirit of the area, which takes into account the legend of King Arthur and the famous Knights of the Round Table. The partners are all in agreement about the purpose of the hotel, which is to create a place of refuge and a corner where people can come to regenerate and gain new insights that will help them in life. The hotel and the surrounding area encourages creativity with its inspirational views and atmosphere. The hotel has come to be known as a unique space for people to share not only in the extraordinary beauty, but in the strength that is created by visitors with a goodwill who share their own visions and ideas. At the Camelot Castle Hotel, there is a desire to copy deep and inspirational precedents that are taken from historical examples, which result in demonstrating how to elevate a culture through creative people of good will. One of the great historical examples that the hotel follows is that of Haroun Al Raschid, who governed the Arab world in 800 AD and became known as the architect that ushered in the Golden Age through his insistence on education and regularly sharing ideas with one another.
